Shadow is doing a brilliant job, despite her biting me. She is tired, but actually better than she was last year. The puppies are growing beautifully at this stage. Their dew claw removal wasn’t too harrowing for them. One or two squealed just a tiny bit but the others were very brave.
Britannia is turning into the character of the pack. She is the one with the white on her shoulders. She sings when she eats, she sings when she wants to eat. She sings when she’s content, she sings when she is miserable. She just sings! She is also trying to gain a world record in eating and the way she is going will be managing.
Bossanova is a very interesting puppy. We thought he had big feet, but it turns out he has 5 toes on each foot which is very rare in dogs, so our vet says. It isn’t anything wrong it is just uncommon. We are all backing him to use the fifth as an opposable thumb and better some of Aristotle’s tricks. He also has a little kink in his tail so we can spot him more easily now we know what to look for.
