Well it’s lovely seeing the suggestions of names coming in, thank you. Just to say, hold the thoughts on ‘D’ we haven’t got there yet. This will be our ‘B’ and ‘C’ litters. We’ve still got all the ‘B’ names you suggested earlier in the year when we thought that Megan might be having a litter and we will use some of those this time when presumably Shadow has hers. Shadow is a bit fed up as she thought she was getting ‘C’ and had been thinking of names herself. She thought as she was Aisha Princess of Beauty she’d like to have a son who was Count something or other and a daughter that was Countess Aisha. If we are being honest, my Mistress is quite relieved that isn’t the case as it was little Aisha that didn’t make it in the first litter and she couldn’t face if that happened to another little Aisha.
In another odd turn of events, my Mistress has been sitting at her desk trying to define our tails. I know it’s strange, but it’s all to do with the Kennel Club and some information she needs to send them. I wagged mine to see if that would help her to describe it, but that wasn’t what she was looking for. You wouldn’t think there was so much that could be said about a tail, but apparently there is. I think the most important thing is the white bit on the end, which acts as our own little beacon when we get lost in high grass. Not lost exactly, more hidden. We know where we are, but our Mistress does seem to worry if we are not clearly in her line of sight. It’s usually Shadow that goes for a little wander. Although to be fair I have been known just to lose track of where an investigation has taken me until I hear her panicked shouting.
