I’ll start by going easy on you on a Sunday morning and tell you how well I’m doing at introducing Ari to his new stroller. I’ve rather taken to it and to be honest quite fancy a ride in it myself. I’ve used treatsto get Ari interested. It’s worked a dream. So much so that when my Mistress left Ari in the kitchen when she went for a shower yesterday, she came back to find him curled up in it. All in all I think it’s going rather well. Which is more than can be said for the blood test my Mistress had on Friday!
If you are of a nervous disposition then I suggest you look away now. There she was driving home after the blood test when my Mistress thought that, strangely, her arm felt wet. So she looked down and got a bit of a shock. I wasn’t there to witness it, but my Mistress pulled over as soon as she could and applied pressure to her arm to stop the bleeding and then took a photograph of it when she got home. She is now an honorary zombie according to the ten year old of the house, although she is not so convinced that is an honour. She’s fine, you’ll be pleased to know and was surprised to find that the blood washed out of both the t-shirt and the jumper. She has an interesting bruise, but nothing else to show for the escapade. This is why I tell her she should never go out without me to assist her. She is not safe to be allowed out on her own. I never know what she’s going to do next.
She cheered herself up by buying a new board game for the family to play. It’s a word game and they’ve all told her that she now needs to find a family who don’t already know what she’s like, to play with. The problem with word games in this house is she always wins and everyone gets cross with her. Ah well, it’ll be me and Ari having to play, I can see it now.
