It’s Aristotle here again. Alfie still doesn’t want to be disturbed so I thought as I need to take my mind off my vet trip today I would write his diary for him. I’ve been trying to think of something nice I could do, something that would be a bit of a tribute to his Dad. The only thing I’ve been able to think about is that in his book of ‘Alfie’s Diary’, which covers the first year of his life and activities, Alfie made a dedication to his mum and dad.
I don’t like days that I can’t have breakfast. They don’t get off to absolutely the best of starts for me. I’m more of your ‘big breakfast’ kind of dog. I suppose I should think myself lucky. Although Amigo can have breakfast he’s having difficulty actually getting to it as he’s wearing a ‘cone of shame’! (One of those dog things that stops him licking!) It’s the wound from his castration. It’s almost healed, but I think the stiches must be feeling a bit tight and he’s started making himself sore by licking them. He is none too thrilled to be spending his life wearing a light fitting round his neck. We on the other paw are rather enjoying the spectacle. It’s only for a few days, but as far as Amigo is concerned any days are days too long.
