It was Aristotle’s idea. He said would I help him gang up on his brother and to be honest it seemed like a good sport. I wasn’t to know he’d be really upset and go running to our Mistress to tell her what we’d done. It was after his home visit yesterday. He’d got on very well but came home exhausted and we were feeling full of life and as though he was fair game. It turns out we were out of order and are now in serious trouble, while he is being pampered and made to feel special. That was not the outcome I had in mind. I suppose I get comforted when the girls have a go at me so it’s only fair, but who wants to be fair?
His home visit went well, except meeting the rabbit. It was all a bit too exciting. We are waiting to hear whether the rabbit is prepared to give it a go or whether he has stomped his paw down in protest as only a rabbit can. In the meantime I’ve been asked if I could lay off joining forces with Aristotle and Aristotle has been told in no uncertain terms to stop being mean to his brother. I ought to be too busy with our business this week to get into any real trouble. The new website launches on Wednesday and as it’s named after me I do feel a certain degree of responsibility.
What is nice is that my Mistress has a new purse which on the outside says ‘love me’ and inside says ‘love my dog’. There is a section to put a photo so she has put her favourite one of her and me together. She did say she needed one of her with all of us, so I may get replaced at some point, but in the meantime I feel very honoured.

Then again, what do I know – I have my humans and my toys all to myself all day long – I bet I’d try out some tricks if I had to share everything too! But please be nice to little Amigo – he sounds like such a sweet little pup *waggy tail*
