Ok so about the dining room carpet…And the guest room…And the kitchen…I’m sorry but I’ve had enough. She’s my Mistress and I’m fed up with having to share her with everyone else and I want more attention. I don’t mean to be so badly behaved but being nice was getting me nowhere. She keeps bringing more and more dogs into the house to compete for her attention and Amigo is a paw too far. Yes, I know he needs a lot of love and special care, but why should that be at my expense. “I know you’ll understand, Alfie.” “You’re always so good about things, Alfie.” Well I’m sorry but now I’m not. I’m not going to be ‘nice Alfie’ anymore. I want as much attention as the next dog in the house. Oh, having a hormonal bitch having a go at me doesn’t help. It was my chew and Megan had no right to make me cower in the corner of the chair and take it from me by force. What kind of example is that to set to the young puppies of the house?
Anyway, it has backfired slightly. So we could have some quality time together I had to sit in the passenger seat while we ran errands. I suppose it was better than nothing. Amigo went for a weekend sleepover with Avril because my Mistress is going out all day today so at least I got an evening without him last night and I did get my cuddle in bed this morning as she didn’t have to get up quite so early to take him for a walk. It’s not all bad and when it’s just me and Amigo he’s a nice little dog, but then there’s Aristotle and Megan and Shadow. We have to call a register at meal times to make sure everyone has been fed!

I can understand how tired you must be of sharing your mistress with all the other dogs – sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have two humans all to myself. On the other paw, you always have some pals around so you don’t have the sole responsibility of guarding the house and supervise all ongoings. Being the smartest out of the lot, I’m sure you can work out a way to predict where your mistress is going before she even knows it herself so you can be there before she even arrives! *waggy tail*
