The puppies are starting their last week together. I don’t think they fully understand the implications of going their separate ways, but it has to happen. Friday will see the first one fly the nest, but I’ll bring all that to you as it happens.
My Mistress has had the result of her keyboard exam and to her delight and amazement has gained a distinction. She is so proud of the piece of paper with the detail on it that she’s thinking of framing it. It just goes to show that you can teach an old dog new tricks! On a less happy front I’m sulking with her as she has decided to sell my car. I take her point that it just sits in the garage most of the time, but I do still think of it as mine. She asked whether it would help if I took her to the garage to help choose the replacement. I just shrugged. It won’t be the same. I know she wants something more practical for all of us, but that isn’t the point. I like it when it is just her and me.
Annette was amazing last night. As soon as she saw Andy she got so excited. It’s amazing how in a few short weeks they can start to form such good bonds. I just hope that their new homes give them as much love as an Entlebucher needs. We need a lot of love! J

Oh, I think one little girl will get all the loving she wants and more if she can take it.
