Tuesday 8th November 2011 – update and ‘Scenes of devastation’ video

out for the count

It’s my birthday in just a few days time. It’s going to be the biggest doggie birthday party I have had with all ten of us here. Unfortunately as my Mistress has to go to Discover Dogs in London I won’t get to share that much of it with her. Anyway, the puppies have promised to play with me, although to be fair they are a little too rough for my liking. I’d be happy to spend the day in front of a nice fireside with the puppies all asleep around me.

Aristotle came and sat in the kitchen with us last night while my Mistress was preparing tea. He wasn’t very certain about the big wide world and ended up curling up next to the doorstop which is in the shape of a cat about his size. This morning it was a real pity that the video wasn’t running as they were playing ‘leap frog’. Annette was lying on the floor chewing at one of the toys that is hanging up and the others were running round the pen and jumping over her. They do all seem particularly lively this morning. I’ve decided to do the video now and the profile later. I’ve called this morning’s video ‘Scenes of devastation’ and you can see it here. Bear in mind they are supposed to be eating their breakfast at this point! If you can hear munching in the background it is just my Mistress eating her Frosties.
