Just to make it difficult I hadn’t got round to putting the puppies collars back on when I took this video. To be honest they are moving about so fast you would never have worked out who was who anyway. There is the sound of crazy puppies, for all of you whose dogs like to listen with you. You can see them here!
As for me, well I have damaged the bits that hold the shoulder together. I don’t know what they are called, but it seems to be the soft tissue area that is the problem and the vet says it could take a long time to heel. I am not supposed to be doing any vigorous exercise, but that is almost funny as I have eschewed vigorous exercise for most of my life. The problem is I should avoid stairs. If you know our house you will realise that is an impossibility. We live at the top of the hill and the whole plot of land slopes away down into the village. Our front door is rather higher than our back door. To get into the office I have to go up 7 steps from the kitchen. To get to the back door I have to go down 6 steps from the kitchen. To go to bed… well I’ve never actually counted those. I need to be in the office as that is where my Mistress is. She needs to be in the office as that is where the puppies are. It’s going to be a trying time and the vet says I may have a long term weakness there. I did suggest on the way home that perhaps it would be a good time to move to a bungalow, while I’m still young enough to enjoy it.

How about you ask your mistress to build some ramps so she can pull you around the house in a little cart until you feel better? 🙂
