Well D’Artagnan is having a great time. He started his day quite early, as he’s not really adjusted to the time difference. He was in the queue for the Empire State Building by 7.50 in the morning and up to the top about 8.20. He proceeded to help our Mistress recreate one of her favourite film moments as you can see from the picture. Who can guess which film it is? They took a selfie together too but my Mistress won’t let me post it as she said bending down to D’Artagnan made her look as though she had a double chin. Then they went to Times Square and later walked a very long way. By the time he got back to the hotel, his little furry legs were aching. They did have a lovely photo together in Central Park in the
afternoon and my Mistress has said it’s ok for me to post that one.
Their walk took them down to the parts of the City that used to be notorious ganglands, but you’ll be pleased to know aren’t anymore. They went into the oldest pub in New York and walked down by the areas that were the docks, then through Greenwich Village. They went on the subway quite a lot too, which D’Artagnan found exciting but my Mistress took in her stride.
Today will be exciting in different ways. They are spending the morning in the library and then have to catch another flight to Denver. This time the plane will be quite a bit smaller, which my Mistress is a little bit worried about. She’s just hoping that conditions are as calm as they were for her on Saturday. D’Artagnan will do his best to look after her and he says that he wasn’t scared at all, which is probably a good thing.
