My Mistress wants to know why, on Monday, were we as good as gold but then on Tuesday we were naughty all day? I’m partly responsible and I don’t know the answer. The weather was bad on Monday and we were all a bit down because of it, but then it wasn’t a whole lot better yesterday morning and we were much more boisterous. It is going to remain one of those mysteries.
With it being warm and wet, the grass is growing particularly fast, almost faster than I can pee it into submission. I’ve gone off the pee stick my Mistress planted for me. I’ve destroyed the grass round that so it’s no fun anymore. I’ve moved on to other places making random patterns to keep myself amused.
Shadow has at last given in and has nibbled the end of her chew. She loves it. It is making her so happy that I’ve even forgiven her for the fact she didn’t let me have it. We are all getting a lot of laughter out of hearing her bashing her way around the house as she tries to carry a chew, that is bigger than she is, from one room to another. She looks so pleased with herself when she has got it nearby. It made me wonder if that was how I was with mine when I was small. My Mistress says I used to have to take it to my favourite rug to chew it. The only time I would ever go away from her side was when I used to have a private moment with my chew and the rug. Now I can only look at it with chew envy and dream of taking it off to the rug, which is inconveniently now on the landing so not in the best chewing position.
