It’s amazing how much happier everyone is when the sun is shining. We need to make the most of it as we have another week of heavy rain forecast, not that I’m a pessimist. I’ve decided to spend the day mostly in the garden where my Mistress is doing some odd jobs. The odd jobs consist of things like protecting the trees I keep peeing on, so it is only fair that I at least lend a hand. I think we’re due to wash my little car later and I’m wondering if she might take me out for a spin with the roof down. She doesn’t get it out very often but they are going away for a weekend in it soon, without me I might add, so I think she wants to get it looking its best, not easy when you look at the rust!
I think it might be a good day to spring clean the summerhouse too but I don’t want to suggest too many jobs when lounging around doing nothing seems to be a much better option. I wondered if we might put the hammock up and I could get in it with her as we used to years ago. It might be wise to make sure Shadow and Aristotle were out of the way first as I can imagine if they tried to get in when we were already in it we might all roll out. If there were something soft to fall on it wouldn’t be so bad but even with the ground fairly wet still it can be fairly hard if you land on it from a height. I know Ari wouldn’t be able to sit still if he were in the hammock. He can’t sit still at the best of times.
