Monday 14th April 2014 – Waiting by the door

I shall spend the day waiting by the door for the sound of the car telling me they are home. Shadow will spend it chilling and still manage to push me out of the way when they actually get here. From what he’s said I am expecting to be bowled over by Aristotle in his relief to be back to familiar surroundings. He said his hotel last night was better as it was much smaller and there were not so many corridors to be surprised by people. It’s funny, Megan doesn’t like hotel corridors and receptions either. I’ve never really thought about it, but then I did stay in my first hotel when I was only 4 months old. I think my Mistress is trying to book an apartment for us for when we go in September at least that way we can do some of our own meals and I can get myself settled. The problem so far is the ones she has looked at don’t take dogs and that is not good.

Aristotle was taken out to dinner last night. He said it wasn’t quite a gourmet meal and they sat outside to eat it. He was a bit fed up as he had ordered steak and chips, but no one seemed to take any notice of him.
