Shadow and I can’t wait for tonight when the travellers return. Aristotle said he was tired yesterday after another half day on the stand and then having to spend three hours in the car to get to a strange hotel. It wasn’t so bad as they were the only people in the hotel for the night so they had a lovely big room on the ground floor that was easy to go out for walks whenever he wanted.
I was missed on the stand as some of my readers came to ask if I was around. Thank you for asking, but to be honest I’m really very happy to leave things like that to Aristotle. I hate my ears being played with and everyone goes for our ears. I’m not much of a fan of crowds either so it all gets a bit much. Aristotle is much better at dealing with anything life throws at him and is unfazed by any of it. It’s a good job really. He was pleased to see Bella and Cleo in the afternoon and then wanted to stay and play with them rather than leave.
My Mistress is bribing him that if he is good he can go to the big pet shop she has been told about near where they will be tomorrow. After 4 days at the biggest dog show in the world, I really can’t think what the attraction of going to another pet shop is, but there is no accounting for taste. He has promised to look for a new collar for me but I said only bring one if it is better than the one he has promised to bring back from Switzerland.
I don’t think I told you that Megan’s season still hasn’t started in Switzerland. She is supposed to be going to meet with Aristotle’s father, but if she doesn’t come into season then nothing is going to happen. She certainly likes doing things her own way. My Mistress has been missing her quite a lot because she is so lovely to go walking with so we are all going to have to try to fill the gap. The problem is that Shadow is more independent on a walk and neither Ari nor I walk as far as Megan did.
