Friday 14th February 2014 – weigh in, video and Pupdate Cracker

Weight gains were very varied. Some good some really not so good. Chekov only added 30g to reach 4870g, but after such large gains the day before that was not too much of a surprise. Cracker almost caught him up. She added 150g to reach 4830g. Cinderella is not far behind, she added 170g to reach 4790g. There is still quite a difference between those three and the others. Casanova added 80g to reach 4360g. Cosette made good progress adding 160g to reach 4230g. After her good day the day before, Cuddles’ weight gain was not so good, but it was still a gain. She added only 30g to get to 3600g.

I was right about them making up for the quiet day by having a more raucous one. They have been playing like mad things earlier today. Today’s video show Heffalump being on the receiving end of the game of tug. I should also mention they have not chewed through the side of the box which is on the outside of the pen keeping it in place. There is not enough missing for it to stop doing its job, but they are trying very hard. You can see the video here http://youtu.be/HPaP2_tonNc

Mind you after playing they did have another good sleep so I think there might be a lot of growing going on. At some point they are going to wake up and want to do nothing but eat.

My Swimming went ok, other than the sheer terror. I’m still worried that if I don’t paddle fast enough I will just sink to the bottom. Fortunately I like the lady instructor very much and she inspires confidence. She says I just need to relax a little and not try quite so hard. That’s easy for her to say. I’m quite different to Aristotle, more prepared to try to please, even though I hate it. She says I might get to like it one day, but I’m not so sure.
