The weight gains are of course for 2 days rather than one but they are all doing well. The most exciting thing is that they are all over 3kg in weight now. Chekov is 3960g, 190g higher than 2 days ago. Cinderella gained 180g to reach 3870g. Cracker added 240g to reach 3810g. Casanova added 210g to reach 3560g. Cosette is clearly over her upset tummy and added 230g to reach 3490g. Cuddles was the lowest gain but still added 140g to reach 3010g. So far today when they have had rest periods Cinderella, Cuddle and Cracker have all had times with their blankets. Hopefully Cosette and the boys will all have chance this afternoon. Then it will be collars. I’ll try to let you know who will be in what collar and do a video so you can see them all and work out which is which.
Trying to keep the pen tidy is now a nightmare. Everything you put down is seen as a toy. The newspaper is shredded. The blanket folded up. The water fountain chewed. Even the whelping box is somewhere to hide and pounce on their unsuspecting siblings. Cuddles and Chekov still play together and sleep together a lot. It is a shame they will live so far apart.
