Tuesday 21st January 2014 – Pupdate Cracker

Cracker had a momentary hiccup where she did not know where she would be going to live, but that has been resolved. Unfortunately her original family have illness in the family which means that it is not the right time for them to have a puppy. Cracker was only down for a few hours before we were able to tell her that not only is she going to a lovely family in the South West of England but she won’t be too far from Chekov or her sister Soggeli (Annette) who is her half-sister. That brightened her up no end and she and Chekov are already planning to cause trouble together if the opportunity arises. Then she got to meet her humans on a video call. I think she’s going to be very very happy. She is already looking at the opportunity of sleeping in a bedroom rather than downstairs and says that suits her just fine. She likes getting under the blankets so I hope her new human knows what he is letting himself in for. As you will know from her weigh in earlier, she is doing very well and as I write this we are waiting to find what she thinks of her meal this evening which will include some baby food in it as well as the baby rice that is already in the mix. I think it was a chicken dinner from the smell but I wasn’t allowed to get too close for fear I would not be able to resist eating it.
