Shadow as you will see from the video is not overly keen on feeding them today. They did have quite a reasonable session with the gruel and all except Cinderella got stuck in. Cinderella slept through most of breakfast saying she was still content from the bottle she had at 6am. My Mistress mumbled something under her breath about not expecting a mid morning snack if she skipped breakfast! The video is here http://youtu.be/din2ULtu-cU
Anyway the weigh in threw up some interesting results, not least of which is that Casanova does not speak up for himself enough. He is fine but his weight had gone down 40g to 1800g. He is being given a bottle at the end of every meal for the next couple of days to make sure he is completely back on track. He very happily guzzled down a third of the bottle after breakfast and said he really needed it. My Mistress tried explaining that he should have shouted when he was hungry and he said he didn’t like to. Cuddles only added 20g but as she had added 100g the day before that is not a problem. She now weighs 1610g. Cosette added 40g to reach 1810g and as she has made slow progress for a couple of days she will be offered a bottle at intervals today too. Cracker added 30g to reach 1970g. She could have added more but my Mistress doesn’t want to give her a bottle unless necessary as she really does want them moving onto solids. Cinderella is fine, but then she had asked for a bottle already. She added 100g to reach 1990g and Chekov is having no problems at all, partly because I think he can suck more effectively on Shadow. He gained 110g to reach 2060g.
All of them are quite healthy and doing ok – we just need to build Casanova up a bit.
