Well it’s Cinderella’s turn today and we got some great photos. At last it is getting a little
easier to photograph the puppies. Cinderella you may remember was the first one born at just before midnight, as you would expect. Unlike the fairy story none of her sisters either from this litter or her half-sisters from any other litter are ugly, they are all beautiful, but then she isn’t being asked to work as a
scullery maid either. She is being treated as a princess from the start.
Cinderella was born with a little fluid blocking her passages but thankfully my Mistress came to the rescue and all was sorted. She has lovely markings and is a very pretty girl. We don’t think she would make a good sniffer dog though. My Mistress suspects she may have a compromised sense of smell. Right from
birth she has struggled to find her mother’s teats. In fact initially she couldn’t even find her mother. She’s very bright though and soon learnt that to be bottle fed she needed to shout out that she was hungry and then when her eyes were open she totally understood where to queue up to be ready for the opportunity. She took to the bottle immediately and is doing very well. She does get some milk from her mum, my Mistress makes sure of that to ensure she builds up an immunity.
So here are a picture of her at 13 days and 2 of her at 19 days old.
