Shadow is more comfortable now than she has been all day. She is putting her paws up and showing no sign that the pups are going to arrive today. I’m back in the room and we are sharing a rug as I write this. We’ve decided to take shifts with her through the night so that at least some of us get some sleep, but it really doesn’t look as though the pups are going to be arriving any time soon. I’ve got the first sleeping shift so I shall be back on duty just after midnight. I’ll let you know if anything is happening again then.
