Shadow is now completely barrel shaped. She is having difficulty judging the width she needs to get through gaps. Twice she has got herself slightly stuck because gates were not open as far she needs them in her present condition. I just wonder how big she will be in another two weeks.
Today we are going swimming and I don’t think there will be any way I can get out of it this time. I don’t have to swim, the most I get is a shower this time but I’m not looking forward to that. I don’t like water and there are no exceptions to that, even though it is supposed to be good for me. If it does go ok, then I have to go for a full assessment. It’s a bit like when you sign up at the gym and you have to go to be checked over to make sure you are fit enough to start and know how the machines work. I’m not sure where they send you if you aren’t fit enough to start as you are in the place to get fit! At the moment my Mistress is trying a little bribery to encourage me. Apparently if I do go swimming I may be able to have a little more to eat. I guess there is a silver lining.
We’ve been working on bringing my book Alfie’s Woods out as a paperback. It’s nearly ready so I’m excited. My Mistress said of all her novels it’s her favourite one, but I guess that’s because we worked on it together which is always more fun. I can reveal the cover to you and it will be available hopefully by the end of the week or early next week, so just in time to buy it for your friends for Christmas.

Roooo Alfie – I hope you learn to love swimming as much as I do! *waggy tail*
Your book looks absolutely pawsome – I read the e-book version with my human and we both loved it.
