Shadow’s bandage did have little fluffy white sheep on it, but sadly she lost that one and had to go back to have it rebound. Now she has a tiger print bandage. They are so cool that it’s almost worth hurting myself so that I can have one. Apparently there’s one with giraffes, a cow print and one with tractors too. I said being a cattle herder she should have gone for the cow print but actually thinking about it a tiger is probably quite appropriate. You can’t see the tiger print very well as she’s wearing one of Megan’s pink boots to keep it dry and clean. She says she likes pink. I hope I never have to borrow them!
My Mistress said I should tell you about mine and Ari’s trip to the vet, but I’m not sure you really need to know. We had to go to have our chips checked ready for holiday. Anyway, it’s a vet – of course we were going to be worried. Usually going to the vet hurts. It’s now our fault we both decided to cower in the corners and refused to come out for our microchips to be scanned. I know my Mistress said it wasn’t going to hurt but she said that about other things and she was wrong! I’m not a coward I just like to protect my interests and Ari was as bad as I was. We didn’t get given a treat afterwards either so it was all a bit of a swizz.
Last night made up for it as my Mistress made a whole load of her breakfast cereal to take on holiday. That’s always good news as she makes so much mess both making it and when she puts it all into containers when it’s cooked. I am always strategically placed and have an oat or two along the way.
