Tuesday 30th April 2013 – Cheering up required

Nothing major has gone wrong you understand, but there seem to have been a hundred and one little and not so little things that haven’t gone the right way and my Mistress is feeling very down in the dumps. I blame the weather, but she says it‘s more likely to be down to her hand not repairing correctly from her operation, the fact she can no longer eat most of the things normal people eat and that she seems to be becoming increasingly allergic to everything and of course Megan not being pregnant. It was far easier to blame the weather, it was more likely that we could just wake up one day and it would all be better again. No one seems to have the answers on the eating problems. There must be other people in the world who are having the same problems with chemicals, she just doesn’t know any of them. As for her hand, she’s starting to think it may never be right again and that takes some adjusting to. Anyway, all that boils down to us needing to find some ways to cheer her up and it isn’t going very well. She ordered a new jacket to replace the one that Megan’s blood from her ear won’t come out of, only to find that they’ve changed the material they are made of to one she cannot stand the feel of. She hit on the idea of driving to the outlet village where they sell last season’s ones so she could get one in the same material, but having done a 40 mile round trip they didn’t have any either. I don’t know what else to suggest. Comfort eating loses something in translation when you have to make it yourself and it isn’t anything very bad for you anyway. Anyway, ideas would be appreciated.
