What I forgot to tell you yesterday is that our darling little Britannia now knows the name by which she will be called and it’s Tess. Thought was given to Heidi, but the family have settled on Tess, so Tess she will be from now on.
It was a funny day yesterday. The puppies didn’t seem to be eating so much. Whether it was because of being wormed or whether it was the fact that it was the first day of being on soaked puppy food with nothing else added I don’t know. It will be interesting to see the day’s weights to see if they made progress. It was also a very busy day so the puppies might have been thinking of other things. They certainly had time to play hide and seek and one of their future owners was watching them hiding under the blanket. We missed it so it was funny to see their screen shots. They played so much that we had to completely redo their pen as the newspaper was everywhere.
Beija wanted cuddles from my Mistress all day yesterday. She cried until she was cuddled and was only quiet if our Mistress was holding her. She had better not get too used to that having my Mistress cuddle me is my prerogative and I’m not very good at sharing.
One of my Master’s presents is to drive a steam train. He seems really happy about it. I was just glad it wasn’t bought for me as my recollection of steam trains is that they can make very loud noises and aren’t that dog friendly. I will look forward to seeing the photos when they come back, I’ll leave my Mistress to do the watching. They had a big birthday meal in the evening and I was pleased to find that we dogs were not forgotten. To be fair we didn’t get to help ourselves as the humans did and Ari was banned from the kitchen for the cooking process, but we did get some turkey and vegetables including asparagus so I was reasonably happy with the day.
