Thursday afternoon

I tried asking my Mistress why she called a puppy Beethoven and she has absolutely no idea but just thinks it’s a great name for a dog. I think it’s probably my breeder’s fault for giving me an intelligent name like ‘Einstein’ (which is my real name).  Our little Beethoven reminds my Mistress a little of Arnie (Arnold) from the last litter. He is gentle and quiet and simply lovely. To be fair, so far, this whole litter seem to be lovely gentle dogs and we hope they grow up into gentle adults too. If they are just like me then no one would have anything to complain about at all.

Beethoven seems to be camera shy, which is a shame as he’s a very handsome boy. His paws are nice and even with their white and brown markings. He doesn’t have too much white anywhere. His nose has a little more brown one side than the other, but otherwise he’s really a very handsome boy.

What is lovely is seeing how glossy all their coats are and how well Shadow is looking. She is very fit and well and says she has never felt better. She really was born to be a mother.
