I have a small crisis to deal with. Ari and I seem to have eaten all the dog biscuits and chews. We are only a week into the holiday and when I went to check the cupboard earlier it was most definitely empty. To my knowledge, Ari doesn’t know where the biscuits are kept although obviously with his sense of smell I may just be kidding myself. Anyway, from the initial analysis of the problem it would seem that I cannot be trusted and I may have over indulged with the odd bit of comfort eating. Anyway, I’m nothing if not resourceful. I have a computer. I have internet access and I know the log in details for my Mistress’s Tesco account. Delivery will be ok as long as I order at least £40 of dog biscuits, but the way it’s going that would barely see me through until Tuesday. My dilemma is whether the Tesco’s delivery driver is going to be happy to accept my paw print for the delivery. I know that my Mistress has said that she has had to sign the little machine with everything from a pen to a car key and very rarely is faced with an implement intended to accompany the machine. I also know she’s said you can very rarely read her signature. So, I’m thinking a claw mark by the dog is just as good as anything else they’ve had from us recently. All I need to do now is work out how I explain the need for fifteen packs of dog treats. I suppose I could say they were on special offer, but that wouldn’t explain why the cupboard is going to be empty again by the time they get home.
