I have to paw it to Shadow, she might have days when I would be happy for her to live somewhere else but she was fantastic yesterday. She agreed to sit in the footwell by James’s feet for the journey and even though she was a little stiff by the time she finished the journey she didn’t complain at all. There were eight of us dogs there and quite a lot of humans. A little girl fell in love with me. If I’m being honest it was mutual. She was lovely too. I had a great day being cuddled. Her mum took my lead in the games and races and we had a great time. I didn’t always do the right thing. To be honest I think I’ve got four left paws but when there were treats being offered it would have been churlish to decline. What was wonderful was the point when the little girl’s dad said that they wanted an Entlebucher of their own and they had brought their daughter to be the one to make the final decision. What could I say? What I can tell you is that she has gone home looking forward to an Entlebucher of her very own.
Shadow and Ari had their photos taken to send to the rest of the litter and we had a lovely family picture with Granny and Grandpa who came to meet up with us. For a change I have included a rather nice up to date picture of me. It was fun meeting an Entlebucher I hadn’t met before and lovely to see Arnie now he’s growing up. I think the only real mischief was Arnie and Ari rolling each other over and over for simply ages. It was amazing to see Queenie and how she has the energy to carry on playing ball when she is so heavily pregnant I’ll never know. I’m not that energetic and I’m not the least bit pregnant! Anyway, thank you to all my Entlebucher friends both human and dog. It was great to see you and I shall look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Oh Alfie, I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it to the Entlebucher fun day. The humans said I had to wear boppers and do a charity walk instead. Then I burned my paws and nose on the silly nettles and had to take meds. I told them we should have gone to the Entle day instead! *rooooo ooo*
