Yesterday the girls were arguing constantly. My Mistress put it down to Megan being out of sorts. She had the bright idea of giving Megan some time with her and for me to sit with Shadow so that we didn’t start chasing round the office. I’d been sitting talking to Shadow for two minutes. Now, bear in mind that she is just finishing her season and she is one very hormonal dog! All I did was say that I thought she might have put a bit of weight on and she went for me. I don’t mean she just snapped and put me in my place, she flew at me in a complete rage. I have a puncture wound just below my ear and a very bloody ear. Oh, I cried! My Mistress rescued me from the situation as quickly as she could, but I was dripping blood. I was very brave as my Mistress cleaned me up, but I have made it clear that is the last time I try being nice to Shadow. There was a sort of justice later when Shadow was playing ball outside to try to lose some of her energy and managed to cut both her back paws. By the end of the day my Mistress was fed up with clearing up blood.
A funny thing happened yesterday. You may have noticed that we called Saturday’s post Discover Dogs Schedule and it is a schedule for Ari’s attendance at Discover Dogs. It is not THE overall Discover Dogs schedule. We had so many people dropping by to read it that I think some of them may have been there under false pretences. It would be nice to think that all those hundreds of people want to meet Ari and I’m sure he will be signing autographs. It’s a shame he can’t have some of his sweatshirts and tshirts on sale, but that isn’t allowed. You’ll have to buy one before you go. Click here.
