An outing
Mum has said that if I promise to be good I can go on an outing today. It was only yesterday that the penny really dropped that we could. There we were walking around the racecourse, enjoying the sunshine. Obviously, Mum was talking to me as I skipped along beside her. Then she said she wasn’t sure how we’d fit in tomorrow’s walk as she wants to visit Granny too. I thought for a moment and said, ‘But can’t we do things differently now we don’t have to work around Shadow?’ Mum hadn’t even thought about that yet. And of course we can.
Bradgate Park
That all means that as long as I am a good girl, I’ll be going to Bradgate Park for a walk today. We love Bradgate Park. Mum always thought of it as her favourite place until she went to my mountain of course. It’s still her favourite place in England, which makes it pretty special. It is a wonderful place to take stumpies, so I’ll try to get some pics too.
Of course, having realised that life can be a little more flexible, Mum is now coming up with other ideas of things we can do. With Dad home it will be even more fun – although I think he wants to visit places that make cider and I had in mind places to walk.
Christmas 2018
I know I’ve still got to go back to Alfie’s early Christmas’s from 2006 to 2010, but that is going to take searching through Mum’s computer for the photographs. In the meantime we’re up to Christmas 2018. By then I was three, Ari was seven, Shadow was nine and Alfie was thirteen.
That was a fun Christmas, from Mum collecting our tree in Alfie’s little car, to my trips to Switzerland we had a great time that year.
Love
