Back to Work
Mum has gone back to work today. In reality that means very little difference to all of us, but maybe a little more time in the office and a little less time doing other things. The best bit about Mum’s job as far as a dog is concerned is that thinking is as important as doing and she can do that anywhere. There is one downside and that is she will have less time to help me making the changes to the diary I’ve been working on. You see, if you go to the bottom of the page it shows you other diary entries you might like. At the moment all the old ones don’t show pictures. I’ve been going through and correcting that. Mum has been helping. We have done all of the ones since September 2018. That may not sound much but it’s more than 850 entries.
Working on my own
Now I have to do it on my own it won’t be so easy. I’ve still got another 4,600 to go. If I don’t give up I should finish by October this year. It’s a good job I’m a working dog and persevere once I’ve got a task.
The worst part of all of it is that I have to keep looking at all the lovely photos of the places we’ve been and the things we’re missing. Mum sat down and put her arms round me. She says she’s missing our special travel times too. She’s promised that when it’s safe we will start travelling again. I do hope she’s right. There are so many places I want to go and so many dogs I want to visit.
It is better for Shadow and Ari that we aren’t away, but they really wouldn’t mind a little bit. They do like the kennels they stay in. Ari gets no chance to find new girlfriends when he’s stuck at home all the time.
