Cuddles and love – Sunday 1st November 2020

Cuddles

It’s cuddles and love for me. This is going well. It’s been a weekend of cuddles. Mum and I have spent lots of time just snuggled up. Thankfully, Shadow these days prefers to be at floor level. That works well all round as she doesn’t tend to stay still. Ari likes his time but is also happy to have a break and go and sit quietly on his own. That means I can take all the rest of the time to snuggle up to Mum which suits us both rather well. I think we might be going back to bed this morning too, which is just a bonus.

Christmas decorations

I don’t like to worry you, but Mum is getting the Christmas decorations out of the cupboard later. She has promised they aren’t going up yet, but she says she wants to sort them all up so she knows where they are going. She is planning to start putting the outdoor lights up so they are ready for turning on. I think she may have ideas above her station planning a ‘grand switch on’ for our humble little Christmas lights. It will hardly be Blackpool illuminations, but it might not be too bad.

Worrying about Santa

Now, I don’t know if you’ve thought about this yet, but Santa presents the world with a very big risk this year. Do you really want one person visiting every house in the course of the night? If he came a couple of days early so you could quarantine everything it wouldn’t be so bad, but have you thought about the risks? Perhaps the answer is to forgo presents this year. I could be all ethical and suggest you support an endangered species or a shelter for homeless pets, but actually what I had in mind was for Rudolph to take the lead role and maybe get one or two of us dogs to help him with the deliveries. What do you think?
