Drains
Yesterday there were some men working on our drains. I don’t know why but I found the whole thing a bit upsetting. They were outside when I got up and had pipes running everywhere. Not just that, but Mum had to tell me to be careful and mind the holes. That was all right until she had to pull the car back onto the drive and not fall down the holes either side. I closed my eyes at that point.
A Run with Mama
The day got a whole lot better when I went up my mountain for a run with Mama and Valeria. I really needed it. I was feeling very stressed and it did give me chance to unwind. The only shame was it was raining so Mum wasn’t keen to go as far as I’d have liked to. She said I was silly getting my harness so wet and to be fair when we struggled to get it dry later I began to see her point. She hung it over the front of the cooker when she cooked dinner and that just about sorted it out. I really don’t want to have to put on a wet harness to go out today. Mum has said when we get back today she will put all my bedding for the car through the wash so it’s clean and dry for our journey home. I suppose if I really have to go then that’s a good idea, but I would rather stay here.
Nieces and Nephews
Anyway, here are just a couple of the pictures of my niece and nephews from Wednesday. They really are at a very cute age now. I think Dad was quite smitten, but then he always is.
I’m seeing Mama and Valeria again today which I’m really looking forward to. After that I have to help Mum finish some gardening and get the packing done. Leaving gets harder every time we come here.

oh any open manhole should have safety barriers round and signs saying open manhole warning under H&S guidelines. Ex drainage dude myself
Yes, they did have one little triangle, but I guess as it was on our drive they didn’t need so many. At least we didn’t go down it!
