What a Day – Sunday 16th June 2019

What a Day

Well what a day it was yesterday. I have not often seen Mum totally lost for words, but I did yesterday. When we got to our party we were all very excited to find our friends from Switzerland had come all the way over especially to be there. Shadow and I were as happy to see them as Mum was. Anyway, Mum cried a bit but we didn’t, we just jumped up and had cuddles. Mum said a few words when we all stopped for something to eat and she cried again then too. Humans are weird. Anyway, Shadow told everyone about how it all began as she was there and gave Alfie’s greetings too.

Sixteen Dogs

There were sixteen of us there altogether. We almost all got in on the photo but that wasn’t easy. I didn’t count all the humans but there were quite a few of them. It was awesome. We had lots of games for all of us to take part. It was crazy but in a good way. By the end of the day I’d run around so much I was tired out but very very happy. I think Shadow barked her way through the day. One of Shadow’s puppies was there who she hadn’t see since she left home at 8 weeks old and she’s four years old now. I thought she was really nice, but Shadow ignored her as she usually does with her children.

Handsome Boys

I have to say that some of the boys were really very handsome. I did like spending time around the boys. It’s such a shame I won’t be able to have a boyfriend because I saw some boys I’d really like to spend time with. Mind you, some of the nicest are actually my nephews so I wouldn’t have been thinking of them anyway.

Today we’re seeing some of them again to go for a walk and I just can’t wait.

  1. Hi there, belated HAPPY FATHERS DAY wishes to my Dad Sami in Switzerland, Chris my first Dad and my Dad now. Hope you all have a good time. It has been a busy day so far here, torrential rain followed by a power cut. I am hoping it is better this afternoon so we can go for a walk. Love to you all Dickens XXXXX

    • Oh that’s so sweet of you Dickens, you’re such a lovely dog. Dad here is having a lovely day. He says that any day surrounded by Entlebuchers is a good one.
      Love
