Friday Flashback – Friday 10th May 2019

Friday Flashback

Yay – it’s Friday flashback. This from 2009 rather made me laugh at Mum’s expense rather than the other dogs.

The problems with travel

Today my Mistress has to pass through the Gare De Lyon station in Paris and she’s hoping that it is more successful than the last time. Firstly she got onto the wrong Metro train last time when she was trying to get there and ended up in completely the wrong place. Fortunately she had plenty of time until her train, other wise things could have got a bit awkward. Of course she wished she hadn’t been standing around waiting for her train platform to be put up on the board at the point a small dog came and peed up her suitcase. The owner, an elderly lady, had already walked on and was oblivious to the offence being caused. My poor Mistress just stood there powerless and could only laugh, when the small boy opposite her grinned at her. Such is the way of the world. Even I’m not allowed to pee up my Mistress’s luggage!

Oh my, this was from 2012 when Aristotle’s brother Amigo was staying here as well for a while. Megan lived here then too, so there were five in the house. I can’t begin to imagine how chaotic that was it’s madness with just four of us!

Oh look it’s me from 2016 – Apparently I didn’t feel like getting up on 10th May 2016!

Let the dog in, let the dog out

Oh this game could go on all day. Five of us asking to go out. Five of us asking to come in. None of us asking to go out or come in at the same time. It’s hilarious. There are moments when I think my Mistress is going to scream, but she just quietly asks if we’d mind coordinating our activities a little more effectively. It wouldn’t be so bad if we weren’t arguing amongst ourselves. My Mistress has a major work project going live next week and she wants to concentrate, but that’s easier said than done with us all demanding attention. Ah well, as a child my Mistress decided she would like six dogs. Her wish has almost come true. As an adult she has realised it should have stayed as a dream, unless she had nothing else to do than look after us all. She is starting to wonder what a normal household is like, but there is no likelihood of her ever finding that out.

Well I’m going off to cause mischief, which is my right as the youngest.

Have a great Friday

Love

Wilma
