Opportunities
The opportunities are endless. It’s a new week, now all we have to decide is what are we going to do with it? In our house a lot is going to depend on whether Mum is better or not. If she is she has promised endless walks and outdoor time to any of us who want to join her. If she isn’t, we’ve offered her endless get well cuddles to get her back on her feet. I’m doing my best to be the nurse dog she needs. The other night there were a couple of times when she rolled over in bed and it hurt so much that she made a loud noise. I was there in an instant to check she was ok. I offered to get into bed with her, but she said she’d rather I didn’t. She was very grateful that I’d come running, so I felt a little bit proud of myself.

Alfie Needs a Nurse Too
Alfie needs a nurse too, but it’s harder to help him. One of his back legs really isn’t working very well. I admit that one occasion he might not have fallen down a couple of stairs if I hadn’t run past the other way and knocked him over. Anyway, he fell down six stairs yesterday and just lay spread eagled on the floor in shock. I wanted to help, but there was nothing I could do. Mum went to help him up and then massaged his legs for a little time to try to help. He said he was ok, but he really was a little bit shaken.
I need a project
Given my attempts at looking after everyone aren’t always successful, I need a project. I might reorganise our toy cupboard, but I usually get bored with that one just after getting all the toys out. I don’t actually get as far as putting them away again. Apparently that’s not awfully helpful either.
Whatever you decide to do with your week, have a great time
