Just the way I like it – Sunday 22nd April 2018

Just the way I like it

Well yesterday morning was just the way I like it. “Aristotle,” our Mistress said, “how do you fancy a morning snuggled up in bed?” Well, of course I was going to say yes to that one. Then when she said that as I had not had that much time with her recently it could be just the two of us, I was a very happy dog indeed. She doesn’t often agree to spend a morning in bed and I was certainly ready to make the most of it. If you live with an Entlebucher you will know that having their human’s undivided attention is the best treat in the world, bar nothing. Not even prime steak can beat that – ok maybe that one is close, but you get the picture.

And it was sunny

The day just got better and better, so when we did eventually get up it was another sunny day. I find it amazing how just a few days of good weather can make all the flowers grow and come out. There are daffodils and tulips everywhere and whereas last year there were just two flowers on the magnolia, this year there are loads. I was going to count them, but I ran out of paws. It all made me feel quite proud at my efforts helping in the garden.

Fun Day

Today is the Entlebucher Fun Day and although I’m not going myself, I’d just like to send my very best wishes for an enjoyable day to may family and friends who will be taking part. Wilma is going and will tell you all about it tomorrow. Shadow is a little disgruntled that she is not going but she forgets how old she is and if she did spend all day running round she’d be grumbling on Monday!

Have a lovely lazy Sunday
