Crufts Round Up – Monday 12th March 2018

Crufts Round Up

Well I’m home again and before I put my paws up and pass the diary back to Alfie I thought I’d give you my Crufts round up. It turns our that my second place means I’ve automatically qualified again for next year. I’ve promised to do some practice and give it my best shot next year and see if I can do a little better. Mum says the most important thing is that I enjoy myself so that bit is easy.

Alfie Bangwood (Buddy)

Buddy is the first Entlebucher to have the opportunity to go into the Group Stages, so it is all rather special to us. It’s even more special as Buddy was rehomed when he was just a year old and his new humans have spent so much time working with him to get him to this stage. We are all so proud of him and his humans.

Mother’s Day

Yesterday was Mother’s Day in the UK and I spent the morning on our Discover Dogs stand with my human Mum. She said it was the best mother’s day she has ever had and there’s no one she’d rather spend it with. Everyone commented on how devoted we seem to be to each other, which is nice. It had nothing at all to do with the hope of another ice cream (which I did get!). I just like being as close to her as I possibly can.

My good friend Bernie was on the stand after us. When he arrived we were so pleased to see each other that we did quite forget where we were and had a good bark. Oh we wanted to play, but our Mums had to explain that wasn’t the time. We’re meeting up soon anyway, so we can romp to our heart’s content then.

So that is Crufts over for this year. Mum picked up a leaflet for a new bed for me, so I’m crossing my paws that if I’m really good she’ll order it. It is one off ground level and she thinks that will help to stop me getting itchy eyes.

Love to you all

Wilma
