Well I’m home from kennels again and happy to be here. It’s not that I don’t like kennels, I do they’re lovely there, but there’s nowhere like your own home. I don’t take my favourite bed anymore either, not since the time that Aristotle got bored and persuaded me it would be fun to eat all the foam out of the middle. We were both pooing foam for days. In hindsight it was a silly idea on many levels, not least because it stopped it being my favourite bed as there’s no padding left.
I am finding the day I come back I feel a bit agitated and cry a bit, but I get myself sorted after a while.
I’m less thrilled about Shadow watching television than everyone else seems to be. Oh I like the fact it keeps her quieter but she watches such inane programmes. I’d rather have a good documentary on than some of the rubbish she seems to enjoy. And don’t even get me started about when she puts the shopping channel on. It’s just a good job she can’t get to our Mistress’s credit cards or there’d be all sorts of things arriving at our house. Yes, of course an easy way to get some of this excess fat off would be great, but these things are never as easy as they make out in the pictures. Maybe I’m not doing it right! Mind you it might be better than the diet I’m being threatened with. I do not now, or at any time in the future want to be put in a diet! I hope I have made myself clear. I’m willing to raid the bin, surf the counter tops, whatever it takes to get the message over, but I do not want my food rations reduced!
Have a great Tuesday
