Bella had a very busy night last night. She gave birth to seven puppies! She had four boys and three girls and mum and pups are all doing well. She has given them some really nice names. The boys are Blue Moon, Beaumont, Boerwolf and Bravado and the girls are Bijou, Bayo & Babeli.
The other exciting thing that has happened is that Annie mated with Luca today in the Netherlands. We are really hoping it has all gone well for her and that she can look forward to puppies of her own soon too.
We had a very long day in the car yesterday and it was sooo hot! We had to wait at the Channel Tunnel which was a shame as it would have been nice to get on with the journey. We drove 400 miles altogether so we were both fairly tired when we arrived at our hotel. We came across country so there was more to see than on the motorway, but we didn’t have many stops. When we did get to our hotel they were so lovely and made me feel very welcome. Our room was huge so I was really able to chill out and it was much nicer after I’d had a good walk. Mum felt better after a walk too. She has been planning the places we need to go tomorrow as we need to take some particular photos. It’s all a bit complicated once we get to Switzerland as we have places to find that are not really there anymore, including a hotel that burnt down about 60 or 70 years ago. It’s not as weird as it sounds and I’ll tell you more later. Anyway, we will be going to Entlebuch itself on Thursday so I’m really really excited.
I haven’t had an ice cream for a couple of days, so I’m hoping that in all the planning Mum has remembered to include that for me.
