Alfie is taking a few days off, so he’s asked me to announce the competition winner. I’m a bit nervous as to whether I’ve done it all right. Mum gave me all the entries and there were an awful lot of them. Mum said there have been more entries than we’ve ever had before so thanks to everyone who took part. Anyway, she showed me how to use the random number generator on the computer to pick the winner from all the correct entries and as long as my paws hit all the right buttons then the winner is… Katy Long of Didcot. I’d just like to say it had nothing at all to do with her saying in her email that I was wonderful and she wants to meet me, although of course that was really nice too and I’d like to meet Katy and everyone who entered.
The answer of course was that Heidi is suffering from Ectopic Ureter and we are desperately trying to raise money for her treatment. Please do take a look at her page and donate if you are able. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/HeidiDog
I had my injection yesterday to make sure I would be able to go to Crufts. It stung a little bit but I didn’t complain and was more interested in trying to see exactly what the vet was doing as I think I would quite like to do her job. She nearly didn’t give me a biscuit, but I went and stood by the drawer to make sure she didn’t forget. Alfie’s appointment with the vet is tomorrow, so we’ll see how he gets on then. Today Aristotle is going swimming and Alfie is having a day off. I can’t go to watch as Shadow will go to be weighed and it’s too much hassle for Mum to try taking a whole car load of us. Shadow says there had better be an improvement or she’s giving up because she really has had enough.

Thank you Wilma, you must have lucky paws! We plan to come on the Sunday so we that can watch as many of your Entlebucher chums as possible, and meet you once you’ve finished with the cut and thrust of the show ring.
I hope Alfie’s visit to the vet goes okay tomorrow.
Katy
Oh how exciting. I shall look forward to meeting you.
Love
Wilma
