We were sitting quietly minding our own business yesterday when out of nowhere what can only be described as a tropical storm began. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but we don’t live anywhere near the tropics and the weather has not exactly been good enough to expect it to descend into those conditions out of nowhere. Our Mistress was sincerely glad that we’d all been walked as if we’d been out in that none of us would have thought it very funny. It was even too bad for me to consider doing my usual trick of pretending to need to go out, just to get our Mistress to have to go out and stand in the rain waiting for me.
That reminds me. I’ve got a bit of a bone to pick with humans on our behalf. Will you not have a little respect? If one of us is on the lead and walking with you and we stop to go to the toilet, you carrying on and pulling us along by our collar while we’re still in the process of clearing out, leaves us in the most undignified of positions and is not much fun for any of us. Ok, so our Mistress did it by accident yesterday, but I was in no position to carry on walking and would have been grateful if she could have acknowledged. We had a small discussion about it and she said she could see my point. Then a few minutes later she did exactly the same thing when I was trying to pee. What is a boy to do? It’s just not acceptable. You humans should be more respectful of our needs. You spend long enough going round with little bags clearing up after us, you’d think you could think about it from our point of view too.
Anyway, have a happy Saturday
Love
Ari
