All I can say is that I’m glad I don’t have a bicycle. Later on our Mistress has agreed that she will go with our Master on a 17 mile cycle ride. That’s about 27km for those of you elsewhere in Europe! Now, given the furthest she has cycled in the last fifteen years is about 11 miles and I saw what she looked like at the end of that, you would think she had learned her lesson, but it seems not. She says she is using cookie dough ice cream as her motivator. I think she’s planning a bowl before she goes to as her energy source and if it weren’t for the fact that it would melt on route I suspect she’d be taking some with her to sustain her on route. For those of you who know her well you may wonder how she comes to be eating cookie dough ice cream when she hasn’t been able to have any dairy products for the last ten or more years, well she’s been trying a new treatment for her allergies and it is working. It is making her very happy indeed, although heavier as well! I think Alfie is planning to tell you more about that one day so I won’t steal his thunder.
This is my new collar. It’s funny, even our Master said half the time he only recognises us by our collars so this is going to confuse him. I don’t really believe that. He knows I’m the dog that walks on two legs and sticks my nose into everything. I’m the one with the softest fur and the cheekiest smile! There really is only one Aristotle! Anyway, what do you think? I think it’s rather smart and grown-up. It’s wider than my old one so will take a bit of getting used to, but I’m working on it.
