Alfie is going to be on the radio. I really mean it. He\u2019s going to be on Radio York in just over a week. He\u2019s got to go to the studio and everything. He is being suitably nonchalant about his fame, but I think it\u2019s amazing. Our Mistress will go with him to help answer the questions, but he\u2019s going to talk about his new book. I think our Mistress will wear her \u2018Minimum Wage for Working Dogs\u2019 t shirt and just hope it\u2019s not a cold day. He\u2019s done an interview for one of the dog newspapers too. He really is a great role model for all us young pups trying to find our way in the world.<\/p>\n
As you may have seen from yesterday\u2019s entry, I\u2019ve going for a more conventional way to open the fridge. Whilst I might be an aspiring inventor our Mistress is far too sensible to leave things around where I\u2019m going to find them. Besides which, finding I could use the stool to climb up did make the whole job easier. She says with how quickly I pick things up I should be thinking of an acting career. Maybe \u2018stunt dog\u2019 or even a \u2018stunt double\u2019. I can see it might be difficult for me to be a double for Lassie, but from a distance and in the right light I might get away with it. Our Mistress is trying to encourage me to train as her personal assistant, but that doesn\u2019t have the same kudos as stunt dog would have. Who wants to spend their life just fetching and carrying? In his interview for Dog World Alfie was asked if he had plans to write another book and that\u2019s set me wondering if I should put together my own book – The Philosophy of Aristotle \u2013 it\u2019s got a certain ring to it, don\u2019t you think?<\/p>\n
