It\u2019s Ari here again, how\u2019ve you been? It\u2019s been an odd week for me. There I was at home on Monday with our sacks of food all stacked where I could keep an eye on them and then after four days in kennels I come home to find a new wall in my way. How did that get there? Obviously I\u2019ve had a good sniff round and asked Alfie a few questions about the strange men who have been in my house while I was away, but I didn\u2019t get satisfactory answers. The only good thing is that by the time I got back most of the decorating had been done and I won\u2019t be needed to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve been teasing Alfie as he\u2019s been worrying whether he posted the Valentine\u2019s Card he\u2019s send early enough and whether it will arrive today. He\u2019s never sent one before so he\u2019s quite sensitive about it. To be fair to him, at least he had someone to send one to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\u2019s been showing me my script for his party political broadcast. It seems as though, as long as I pass my audition this afternoon I will get to play a starring role. I\u2019m not sure I\u2019m totally happy with what the script says I have to do and I\u2019ve been asking if I can make some \u2018minor\u2019 modifications to show myself in a better light. Sadly, I have been told in no uncertain terms that I either play it exactly as set out or they will get someone else. I guess I\u2019m just not a big enough star yet to call the shots. You mark my words, one day\u2026 In the spirit of the Pet Dogs Democratic Party\u2019s policy on the minimum wage, I have asked how much I\u2019m being paid for my role and whether I will receive royalties each time it is broadcast. I have not yet received a satisfactory answer. Being told \u2018It\u2019s for the cause\u2019 does not buy me treats!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
