So, how\u2019s your week been? I\u2019ve felt a bit under the weather so haven\u2019t been quite as boisterous as usual. I went swimming on Tuesday and that wasn\u2019t too bad. I asked if I could try Alfie\u2019s coat out, but he declined. Anyway, I wasn\u2019t impressed yesterday as he forgot to wish my mum a happy sixth birthday. I know it\u2019s a day late but I just wanted to say Happy birthday, Mum (Shadow to you). She enjoyed it with her usual regal dignity and had a thoroughly enjoyable walk out in the sunshine. I also want to publicly welcome Laika to the UK. She is one of our breed and moved to the UK from Russia on Thursday. I guess she\u2019s finding it all a bit strange at the moment but you\u2019ll soon get the hang of things. As soon as you get your new humans trained you\u2019ll have no problems.<\/p>\n
Alfie\u2019s vet visit went very well yesterday and he has been given a clean bill of health. His white blood cells are back to a normal level and he is as fit as he is ever going to be! He celebrated by sleeping on the couch for most of the day. I was excited because he\u2019s asked me to take a starring role in the film he\u2019s putting together. I think he and our Mistress are still putting the script together but they have said there are some good parts in it for me. I think he\u2019s hoping to start filming next week. I was concerned when he said I may need to wear an apron in one scene! I\u2019m hoping that if I do well I might be \u2018noticed\u2019 and invited to take starring roles in other films. I\u2019m sure I could be a Hollywood star if I was just seen by the right people.<\/p>\n
