On balance I prefer the ground slightly frozen rather than it being a little bit muddy \u2013 or for that matter, a lot muddy! As long as it is not too bitingly cold my paws don\u2019t get too cold and I do prefer not getting brown bits all over my lovely white socks. It was a perfect winter day yesterday. The sort that you don\u2019t mind having a little bit of winter once in a while. I chose an airfield walk, but I did wonder if I might have preferred the Moors. I tried asking for both but that was considered unreasonable and I was vetoed.<\/p>\n

Now I\u2019ve got some difficult thinking to do. My new book, The Pet Dogs Democratic Party Manifesto was due to be launched on 1st<\/sup> April. We liked the humour behind the choice of dates. However, now our Mistress has told me that that date is no longer convenient for her and I will need to bring the launch forward. There was me thinking I\u2019d got plenty of time to get everything finished, but as it turns out I haven\u2019t so I need to get my head round having to do some work and come up with a date that I think I can be ready by. I\u2019m thinking that Monday 9th<\/sup> March looks like the best option. I\u2019ll be back from Crufts and can concentrate on any interviews that are asked of me. Now I\u2019d better finish working my way through the list of jobs my Mistress gave me that need to be completed in time for the launch.
