I have to go to the vet\u2019s this morning and I\u2019m worried. Most things are routine and you have a fair idea before you go what the vet is going to say and what the treatment is going to be, but this is different. When I was having a cuddle with my Mistress the night before last, she noticed a lump in my neck. We\u2019d have gone to the vet yesterday, but with her being in London it wasn\u2019t possible so I\u2019m going first thing this morning. It doesn\u2019t hurt and it may just be another fatty lump, but my Mistress says it feels a little deeper than that. She is hoping it\u2019s just my glands, which would explain how lethargic I\u2019ve been this week, but I know she\u2019s concerned too. I\u2019m just hoping the vet puts our minds at rest and that it\u2019s nothing serious. At least I\u2019ve got my weekend away to look forward to, to take my mind off things. I hope it\u2019s nothing infectious too as Shadow really doesn\u2019t need to be around dogs who are ill right now and I guess if it is that Bella won\u2019t want to see me either. Oh, I hate having things wrong with me. Getting older is bad enough without specific problems.<\/p>\n
Things were not going well for Aida when we spoke to her yesterday. She is like her sister Annie and her season is very short and everything happens very quickly. She is going back to see the stud dog again today, but it may already be too late. We\u2019re all rooting for you Aida, we so want it to work. This whole breeding thing is really very complicated. When you see all the unwanted puppies out there, you\u2019d think it was easy as falling off a log, but sadly that really doesn\u2019t seem to be the case.<\/p>\n
