As if life were not busy enough, my Mistress has received a recall notice on her car. In normal circumstances that would be an annoyance but one which could be dealt with, the problem is that the manufacturer doesn\u2019t have any local dealers. They closed the ones that were near us. The nearest is now 40 miles away and not somewhere we ever have cause to go. She is going to ring and talk to them to see what can be done, but she\u2019s not best pleased! She is more focussed on finding the time to get the winter tyres fitted to the car so she\u2019s ready to go with Shadow whenever that needs to be. Shadow is not giving us any clues at all yet. She\u2019s obviously hormonal because she\u2019s being nice to everyone. She\u2019s always more affectionate before her season starts. She goes back to normal afterwards, which is always a shame!<\/p>\n
When she went to the Post Office in the neighbouring village yesterday, My Mistress came back all excited as they are selling Christmas trees. They sell them every year, I think the exciting point was suddenly realising it\u2019s December and it won\u2019t be long until it\u2019s Christmas. What she thought she was writing Christmas cards and buying presents for I\u2019m not really sure. That\u2019s humans for you! Now we just need to see if she buys us a tree. I think she will as she doesn\u2019t think it feels like Christmas without one, it\u2019s just with everything else she might think it\u2019s a waste of time. I like having it there so hopefully she\u2019ll do it for me. She will need to get my Master to go with her. It\u2019s not just because he finds it easier to carry than our Mistress, he\u2019s also very good at choosing trees on prior years\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n
