Shadow enjoyed going to watch Ari. At one point Ari swallowed some water and Shadow was all set to jump in to the water to him. Everyone thought she was very pretty and very cute so obviously she lapped up all the attention. Ari was funny as usually he drops the toy he has after the first couple of lengths, but with his mum watching he kept tight hold of it, probably to make sure she couldn\u2019t have it. I sat in the car while they were in there. I didn\u2019t want to be left out altogether.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve had all my test results and it seems there is nothing serious wrong, so it is just a question of pain. I\u2019m going to be on an anti-inflammatory pain killer on a daily basis to see how I get on, and if the one I\u2019ve got now does not work then I\u2019ll be trying a different one. I asked if it were addictive and could make me high, but sadly that does not seem to be the case. Having said that a release from pain will be almost as good. I don\u2019t notice it all the time, I\u2019ve got used to it, but every so often I\u2019ll move awkwardly and it will tweak and then I really know about it. It\u2019s often when I\u2019m conducting my ablutions that I catch myself in an awkward position.<\/p>\n
Thankfully we\u2019ve got another quiet weekend. I think my Mistress is appreciating some time to catch up on everything. She wants to be really on top of things before she has to go to take Shadow to mate. Shadow seems to have started moulting, so it may be that she mates before Christmas. It\u2019s usually about six weeks from when she finishes moulting and moulting usually lasts about a week.
