Did I say \u2018I\u2019d like a trip to the vet?\u2019 No, I did not, but I\u2019m having one anyway. Apparently losing weight for no reason isn\u2019t a good thing! I was rather admiring my trimmer figure in the mirror, but it turns out that my Mistress is a little worried about me. I\u2019m eating the same food. I\u2019m eating the same amount. I\u2019m doing rather less exercise than I should be and she was really expecting that I might put on a little weight. I\u2019m also rather quieter, drinking a little more, at least some of the time and being picked on by Ari. I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything really wrong with me, other than I\u2019m getting older, but my Mistress has taken it upon herself to have one or two tests done. Apparently \u2018I\u2019m far too precious to have anything happen to\u2019, which of course is nice to hear, but if I\u2019m that precious why is she suggesting the vet sticks needles into me?<\/p>\n
I will bring you details of our competition in the next few days, but we have no less than 10 pairs of tickets to go to the Discover Dogs Show in London next month absolutely free. I shall also be telling you about the wonderful company that is giving us the prize as we are very impressed as they are a bank that actually allows dogs to go into their branches. Better than that, they encourage it and offer goodies to the dogs. They are the Metro Bank which is in and around London, but I\u2019ll tell you about them properly in the next day or two.<\/p>\n
Walking us is fun at the moment. My Mistress has the weather application open on her computer and tries to use it to second guess when the gaps between the rain showers will be. It didn\u2019t work so well yesterday, she worked through the dry time and went out with Ari just in time for the rain to start. I said we\u2019d be better getting a cow to live in the back garden and then she could go for walks when it was standing up and stay at home when it was lying down!<\/p>\n
